The south direction is perfect for photographing ancestors. Only items related to worship should be kept in the room of the temple. Photos of deceased persons or ancestors should not be kept in pooja room.
  • It is considered inauspicious to have a bathroom near the temple in the house. Therefore, the temple should be kept away from such places. If there is a temple in a small room, leave enough space for one person to sit there.
  • Kuldevata, Devi, Annapurna, Ganapati, Shriyantra should be established in the temple.
  • There should be space near pooja temple for keeping perfumes, pooja materials and books
  • If there is a temple in the house, it is necessary to perform pooja every morning and evening. Bells must be rung during pooja. Also, walk around the house and ring the bell. Doing so destroys the negativity with the sound of the bell and increases the positivity.
  • Items purchased from pilgrimage sites should be avoided. Traditional idols should be worshiped.
  • Electrical points should be installed near the deities so that electric lamps can be decorated during the festive season.
  • Idols should be set up on the seat and worship should be done while sitting on the seat.
  • The idol should not be more than 4 inches high.
  • Do not offer stale, dried flowers in worship. Use clean and fresh water. One thing to keep in mind in this context is that the leaves of Tulsi and the water of the Ganges are never considered stale. So they can be used anytime. Other ingredients should be fresh. If a flower smells bad or is spoiled, do not offer it to God.
  • Idols or photos of dancing Ganapati, Shankar performing Tandava, Kalika etc. during slaying should not be kept in the temple.
  • Mahadev should be worshiped in the form of Linga. Not in the form of an idol.

  • Every night before going to bed, cover the temple with a curtain. Just as you do not like any kind of interruption after sleeping, you should put a curtain on the temple with exactly the same feeling.
  • Whenever the best moments of the year come, sprinkle cow urine all over the house. Sprinkling cow urine maintains purity and makes the atmosphere positive. According to the scriptures, cow urine has a very miraculous effect and this remedy has the special grace of divine power.
  • The lamp should be in the southeast corner of the temple. The water should be kept to the north.
  • Conch-bells must be used in worship.
  • In some houses temple is kept in the kitchen or in the bedroom. If you want to do this, you should cover the temple with a curtain after the pooja.
